I just bought a white down comforter. My question is..do I enjoy to put a duvet cover on it. I love the way it looks without have to put a duvet cover, etc...on it. Thanks for any advice!!
Answers: ~~Having a cover is not necessary but will protect it from getting skin oil on it. It's way easier to wash the cover than the comforter. You can dust the comforter in you rmachine if it's large adequate, on gently and cold water. Just be sure to put in 2 or 3 clean tennis balls when drying, on low warmness, it keeps the feathers fluffy. They come out beautiful. Washing take a toll and that is the drawback. If you don't mind not getting as much time out of it, then move out it uncovered.~~
No, you can use it as is but, it won't last as long if you don't put it in a duvet cover. The cover will protect it and keep hold of in nicer longer. I have 2 and cover them both. One of them I've have for over 10 years and it's still in great condition. no, you can use it as is
When you use a duvet cover the feathers will come out more!
