Don't you Just Hate Slugs within the Summer? I have tried everything possible to preserve these pests off my garden...

I have tried everything possible to preserve these pests off my garden plants as I freshly haye touching them. I know!!!some gardener!!The best way to waste them & keep them away I found is to roast garlic segment in the oven, after crumble them round the base of your plants. They aversion the smell. To add extra deterents I also put out lid of beer in the nouns.Last year I only saw smaller number than a handful in the garden.Has anyone any more different ways than the usual agreed ones that could help the tenderfoot gardener.

Answers:    Dig a small pond to encourage frogs as they chomp through slugs, as do birds. Use chop sticks to pick them up if you don't like touching them, of late place a plank on the ground near where on earth you usually see them and check underneath it every day and drown them within soapy water . Smear petroleum jelly round the top of containers or pots to stop slugs getting to your plants. Every gardeners get their own way, i merely like to fence in them with my kids instead of using chemicals which could damage other wildlife which are beneficial to my garden.
