If you pack it, and something breaks, it's on you. If they pack it and something breaks, it's on them. That is a question for the moving company; any of which will gladly answer your examine and provide a quote.
Truthfully, I hold never heard of an honest packer. They make their money on the boxes, video, and bubble wrap. You'll pay through the nose.
Best to run out and start collecting boxes from stores for free and start packing up stuff a box or two per day, starting with stuff you don't use, similar to winter clothes, books, dinnerware, memories, est. Before you know it, you'll be almost done.
Trust me on this... if you're like the rest of the world, you have route more stuff than you know.
Answers: The best thing to do is procure two or three free estimates. We have done this twice and it was worth every penny.
