I live in Chicago and I am surrounded by the process of looking for furniture. My budget is slim, and I want to find quality furniture specifically very affordable.

Can anyone provide the address, phone, and comment in the region of any places in the city or close suburbs? Thanks!

River is right, Craigslist is a good place to start looking.

Also look in Ikea in Schaumburg. You can also try Milwaukee St., they enjoy alot of little furniture places you can take a look at, you may find some suitable stuff. Also try Harlem Ave., they also have a few furniture outlets in attendance.

Answers:    I've bought a great deal of my furniture used on Craigs List. It's free to buy and sell, and you can find nice furniture at a fraction of retail cost.

I also bought quite a bit of stuff at Ikea out within Schaumberg. It's quite a drive from the city, but for plentiful things their furniture is stylish and reasonably priced.

There is also an auction house on the north side call Direct Auction Galleries where I've bought numerous oriental rugs at unbelievably low prices. They have furniture as very well.
