Do you see oodles slow-worms or grass snakes?
Answers: Slow-worms are living under my shed close at hand my compost heap. I also have many on my allotment plot. They similar to to hang out anywhere poorly lit and moist as this is also where they will find slugs and sbails to get through.
Only seen a grass snake once. Fantastic verbs.
We were walking around a exquisite lake within a woodland setting. Hot sunny day so the cool shade of the trees be very greeting. A man was sit out on a little spit beside his fishing line out and we stopped to see if he would corner anything. In front of him were some lily pad with frogs sitting on them croaking loudly. Suddenly a grass snake slithered out of the hose down and glided silently across the lily pads and caught a frog! Amazing! (felt a bit sorry for the frog mind) it be like a David Attenborough moment.
When i jump bush walking, about an hours drive from here( Brisbane. ) i can see frequent Red Bellied Blake snakes, very posionous, i hold seen lots when walking along creek bed,they sunbake in the undo area of the creek bed, it can be a bit worrisome when all you here are snakes slithering up the bank when they here you, i always convey a stick and make some racket so they know i'm coming.
