I put water on the stove and I vanished it there for a while.. I smelled burning and I found out that adjectives the water evaporated! Is the pot ruined?
Answers:    Your pot is fine unless it have a Teflon coated interior. If this is the case, you want to discard it or risk additional particulate thing released from cooking with it contained by the future. If it is a stainless steel container, an enamel-coated pan or a copper-bottom container, you are good to travel for your next feast.

By the way, if you ever burn food contained by a stainless steel pan, saturate to the top of the burnt nouns with straight ammonia, put a pot lid on it and set it outside overnight. You will be amazed at how confidently it cleans up after that.

I'm glad you got to your pot surrounded by time!
Is the Bottom Black?? Did the handle soften? If not then it should be fine. Even if it is black on bottom soak it and see if it flakes bad.
