I have a raised-ranch style home and burn a pellet stove within basement, it seem to dry out the house. Now my wood floors are beginning to creak and I guess it's due to the stove. Do you think I have need of a humidifier? If so which type and what size would I need? Thanks

Answers:    Yes you do have need of a humidifier. If you have ductwork surrounded by your home look for a duct mounted unit. AprilAire model 600 works great and isn't too expensive.
