I have a 20' x 40' inground pool, 10 feet thoughtful at the deepest point. I live in the northeast so sometimes its super hot, but never for more than a few days at a time so the water never stays fundamentally warm.

Is a solar cover worth the investment?
Answers:    I've owned a pool in the western investigational york area for many years, and hold found that the solar cover works excellent. It will heat your pool up a few degrees, however it will preserve a lot of the heat surrounded by when the temperature drops at night. It is also caring if your pool filter is on a timer. If you can, set the timer to go on at about 2 contained by the afternoon for about 45 minutes. This will mix the top layer of heated hose down with the cooler deeper water.
yes they do roast a pool 10-15 degrees...but most people achieve tired of the hassle of rolling/unrolling cover everytime they want to use it...automatic covers are more convenient and keep out dirt and leaves, but the cost is too much for some people-heres a link on these covers: http://www.swimming-pool-information.com... Yes. Solar covers uphold the current temperatures of the water and most magnify the grill from the sun.
