This year I spraypainted and glittered pine cones for my Christmas tree and I be wondering if I need to throw them away or if I can preserve them for next year.
Answers: If kept within your house(dry) they may last longer than you do...I'm guessing you picked them up surrounded by your yard? You might enjoy seeds within the cones that are tasty to some critters though...If they are dry...you might consider storing them within old coffee can...
I don't think they do. They will if you go off them outside with moisture, but if they're at home later it should be fine. Also, the paint kinda preserves it. I have a pinecone that I painted and glitter too and its been contained by my house for at least 10 years in a minute and it is fine.
