my friend recently purchased a house and it come with an prehistoric oven/stove that says "Ford" on it. Is this indistinguishable as the auto manufacturer? Is this entry worth money?

Answers:    At one time, Ford owned a company named Philco. They made refrigerators, radios, and fan (I think). I saw a lot of them growing up surrounded by the late 50s. Philco radios be stock in Fords through the 60s. Ford also be the original owner of Kingsford charcoal.

Years ago the a variety of auto manufacturers branched out into home appliances... GM, for example, made some nature of refrigerators... Chrysler made air conditioners... rear in the apt old days when American factory made everything one could want to buy!! I think that Ford made Philco brand, but I could be wrong.
