Cost of Screen Door? The screen door to my apartment is in a bit bad condition...

The screen door to my apartment is in a bit bad condition and the screens adjectives have holes in them, so I took the door bad and now have it surrounded by storage.
But, living on the third floor, it gets STIFLING hot here in the summer, and if I could enjoy the back door open short having bugs get within, or the cats getting out, it would be terrific.
What would be the cost of getting a new screen door? A underlying wooden one that I would install myself?
Or would it be more worth it to just buy new screen and put the old door back up?
And please don't read aloud, "This is a job for the landlord", because the landlord is my friend and let me live here without paying rent, so I don't want to bug him when I need something fixed.
Yup. A new roll of screening will be smaller number than $10, and take, maybe, 20 minutes to do.

You should be able to buy replacement screening and the vinyl to hold it contained by place at your local hardware for less than $10. They can probably repair the screens for you for not too much more. trial screen doors range from around 50 dollars up to several hundred. I would freshly rescreen the old door
Answers:    A unusual Wood Screen Door could cost you between $20 - $75 OR you could have the screen replaced which would probably be the most cost effectual (call somewhere for pricing). You could replace it yourself or pay someone. Some Aluminum Screen Doors can cost up to $300.
