Christmas cactus facts? ...
Answers: Hi there,
Christmas cactus is one of the easiest holiday plants to support for. Lasting longer than the classic holiday poinsettia, christmas cactus blooms come in a wide open array of colors ranging from hot pink, white, lavender, pale, salmon, red, and light pink to given name a few. They require bright indirect light and melt temperatures surrounded by the 70's with regular waterings to thrive. I currently own over a dozen different christmas cactus plants that own been alive for over 10 years. They are markedly easy to propagate should you want to distribute some to friends and family as gifts. Just snip rotten a 2-3 inch segment of the cactus and let the cut conclusion dry overnight. Plant in capably drained sand/potting soil mix and soon the ends will root in a few weeks. When the temperature start dipping in the drop, the plants are triggered to start their bloom cycle. Mine decorate the house from the months of November through the completion of January.
Good luck!
Not sure what you are looking for. Cactus become dormant in the winter, except within the desert. If it rains contained by the desert, they will absorb as much sea as they can.
