Hello. I am desperate for an answer. I live in Georgia simply south of Atlanta in the most boring town ever of Tyrone. There is really nothing to do hear, excluding Playing contained by the Woods. The woods is one of my most favorite places in the world, but I am afraid of chiggers and ticks. There are times I shift in the woods and never take bit, and others when I leave the woods surrounded by a living hell. So, do chiggers really live around these parts, or are chiggers a scam by Television corperations to keep folks fearing the outdoors? and if so, how do i get into the woods without getting bit?
Answers: Take a cloth softner sheet & rub it over your bare skin later stick a couple of them in your pocket. As far as ticks you in recent times have to check yourself for them.
.. And here I be, thinking "chiggers" was some open-handed of racial slur, haha.
But really, I'd utter to just use a ton of bug spray and bring it near you when you go near.
