We turned on the air concluding night and found that marine had spread around the nouns in the crypt where the system is. Would anyone know how to tell me if this is a really serious problem, or could it be something effortlessly fixable? We assume it's the a/c because that's the only entity that was different from yesterday to today.
Answers: does it own a drain tube which it should a hose or pipe . and is it still hooked together?
if its not hook it back up and it should be fine but if its still hooked together at hand could be a plug of mold in the drain tube plugging it from draining correctly and you may requirement to put some bleach through it to clean it out of enjoy a hvac tech do that for you .
A/C often cause condensation. It happens a LOT when humidity is large. Normally, there should be some gully where the hose down pours out of the Aa/c unit. Sounds close to that water outlet from your a/c runs straight to your subterranean vault. If left to evolve, all sorts of icky stuff might grow contained by the basement if iot remains humidify for extended periods. If it is solely occasionally and no carpet, nought to rot along the way, no problem at adjectives.
