We are going to a hotel this weekend and there is a current tub in the room. When my hubby saw me packing the bubble hip bath and bath salt he told me you can't use stuff like that contained by a Jacuzzi. Is that true?
Answers: You are both right. Bubble bath, no. Bath foam, yes.
True, can't use. HOWEVER, look for a product that states 'foam' on it and read instructions. If it does not contain grease, OK to use. I use bath foam contained by mine all the time (there are couple of nice hip bath foams by Intensive Care). Oil is what clogs the jets. When using it, use VERY LITTLE (such as 1/2 length of first finger joint). The jet really, really make it foam (or bubble).
I wouldn't. If you gum up the jacuzzi you may be charged for the repair or replacement. So find out for sure until that time you do it.
