I live in New Castle, Pennsylvania. I enjoy a shed that has a pipe going out the roof for a wood burner or furnace for when i build my garage. in a minute during the summer months i noticed that near is a bees nest bigger than a baseball and i was wondering if i could catch it down. today it is 35 out and the nights be 20 or so. now i am wondering if in attendance are any in within or what and what can i do to get it out if they are in that. I don't know what king of bee it is i think it is of late a regular hunny bee nest. PLEASE HELP.

Answers:    bees will have a wax nest and if the shed is not heated you should know how to remove it ok...if it looks like the nest is a serious newspaper material, they be wasps and they are gone, so just remove it as you resembling

Don't even SCREW with that item by yourself. Call a professional. They could be hibernating within there.
