in what conditions do bean plants grow best?
Answers:    Beans grow best contained by FULL SUN.also they like a fitting composted ammended soil...Do not soak beans in wet overnight before planting for they will develop a root rot..beans are deeply succepttable to fungi type diseases..also do not over water when you lant them.. they again will develop diseases..save the soil barely moist and not drizzling..DO NOT USE A FERTILIZER once they sprout with illustrious nitrogen such as "all purpose miracle grow"..they do not inevitability any nitrogen other than the composted soil...Beans enjoy a genetic way of extracting nitrogen from the atmosphere and do not need it within the soil...Water beans from the underneath of the plant and not from above..water on the leaves will cuase more fungi...Heres pictures of my beans when planted and later a few weeks later..they are very soon larger than this too and I am picking beans daily...

I grow beans in plastic buckets, because I find they don't receive bugs attacking them. You don't say what type of bean. But both variety like semi shade,or will grow within full sun.Bush beans -put in seed 2" deep, and just about 10" wide.Climbers against a paling with plastic or line netting I find best.Seeds 2" deep and 2" apart.I grow three variety together. Say Scarlet runner,Purple King, and butter beans. If it is particularly hot I would sea them at night. The together plant I mean. This would make a payment to the intensity of the flower smell to attract bees. They don't need fertiliser unless ground has'nt be fertilsed at some time.
