Where are these things coming from? I've never had a problem with nats/gnats up to that time but lately I've seen these in my house on a daily basis. I don't know where their coming from? Any idea on how to attain rid of them or what's keeping them around? My house is spotless and I know it's not from the trash. Any ideas?
They are feeding on something that is rotting. Usually this is a fruit, vegetable, or even a potato.
You must find it to be rid of them, but contained by the interim you should try placing a small open tray with a couple of ounces of beer and a few drops of soft soap. They will be attracted to this and will drown in it.
Gnats are not baby flies. And they come from where any other insect comes from. They are attracted by rotting food (in waste cans, sink drains, etc..). I would try cleaning your sink drain or inside of your garbage can as a preventitive manoeuvre, and a flying insect spray to get rid of the ones you already have. Actually, I am getting an extermintor to come appropriate care of one them problems I have enduring insects in my home I only see them once contained by awhile but those gnats are very annoying I could be eating at the table and one zoom on by like toying with me here are times I slap one down on the table (grose) but what else can you do. The Exterminator that is coming is from Orkin I have never tried them in the past but they were pretty convincing they also have a pest library and the gnat we are conversation about is a phroid hunchback fly mistaken by a gnat.

Answers: Gnats are gnats and houseflies are houseflies. They're different species. If what you're seeing has glowing colored eyes and look like small houseflies, then they're not gnats...they're fruit flies.
Now, to attain rid of the gnats...they most commonly come from your houseplants where you'll see them on top of the moist soil. If you allow your houseplants to dry out for a daylight or two, the flies will begin to die off. They necessitate damp soil to lay eggs. If the soil dries out, so do the eggs and they die.
To get rid of fruit flies, you requirement to find the piece of fruit that they're living on. Often it may not even be inside your house...it can be near the front, back or garage doors and every time you interested the doors, they get swept in.
