Answers:    I have nouns purifiers in every room surrounded by my house, due to asthma. Before I put them in, I cleaned out my ionic complete house filter monthly. After I put in the room purifiers, I checked the ionic filter, and it be never dirty! I cleaned it out maybe once every 6 months. This tell me the room filters specifically remove dust, etc. from the room. I have several different brands. They adjectives work fine. I would recommend getting one with a filter explicitly universal and easy/cheap to replace. You do inevitability to replace the filters regularly.
