Antique rug made contained by Iran... please facilitate!? The other day I purely found out that I had a hand-made...

The other day I purely found out that I had a hand-made rug that be made in Iran and bought by my grandparents roughly speaking 10-15 years ago, the rug is about 6x8 and they rewarded around $2000 dollars for it.

My question is what is the proper process to clean a rug to be precise hand-made? It has not be cleaned in years lone vacuumed... and also is there a flea market place for these rugs? if I do decide I want to get rid of it.
Answers:    to sell try craigslist or ebay I own had honourable luck with both. Never trade your rug before you know what it is.

Also, a $2000 rug will want to be professionally cleaned. WHATEVER you do, NEVER clean near an in home service. Go to the professionals and ask for a submersive rinse. Expect to pay 2.00 a square foot depending on location. Market values of rugs tuning a lot in 10-15 years. Most rug people want 250 for a formal appraisal so check out rugrag.com. they facilitate you free if you contact them. They also have two tools you may find adjectives which are sourced below
I also have an matured middle eastern rug and I only vacuum it. I take in that the best thing to do if it wants cleaning is to consult an antique rug dealer who might do the cleaning contained by house or be able to refer you. I enjoy heard the usual rug cleaning services are not right for this type of work.
