Alarm isn't working. (DSC)? I was have some issues turning on my alarm this evening so...

I was have some issues turning on my alarm this evening so I punched in *9, consequently my code. The *9 supposedly is "quick alarm". About 15 minutes after I set it, it spontaneously go off. None of the zone were enter however, so I know it has to do next to the actual alarm. Now, when I am trying to set it, 3 lights light up: the green"ready" one, the sickly "bypass" and the red "armed". Since the green one is on, its not atucally armed....how do I get it support to normal, short having a technician come surrounded by?
