What is the best filter for the central ac element? I hear u need to turn on the ac part in instruct for the filter to collect the particles. Is this so?
I own little gnat-like bugs on the upstairs...

If you move about to Home Depot, you can see the options. The stock from a few dollars to about $30 per. The density is what sets them apart. Some consent to a lot of particle through such as dust and mold, and some trap everything.

Yes the AC Unit has to be on.

They should also be replaced every 3-6 months. The filter covering will tell you how long until that time replacement

Yes you enjoy to have it on for it to collect particle, but that doesn't mean preserve it on constantly(you would also freeze). you can get some that collect more, but i newly buy the cheepest one and change it out every month
