After nipping out the tops of a tomato or chilli plant - how long will it stay duplicate height?
Answers: You can nip out the top of a tomato plant, and if it is an indeterminate vine, it will basically chose another stem as itsleader, and will get as high as it wants to. If it is a determintate vine, you canprobably hold on to it at the same point and it will just branch out and achieve fuller. Same for a pepper plant, keeping it pinched just make it fuller.
The top you nipped out will not grow any bigger, but unmarked shoots will grow an take over.
