Zanussi Dishwasher Question ....? Have a Zanussi Dishwasher, four years old, and found a slight wet...

Have a Zanussi Dishwasher, four years old, and found a slight wet seepage from under the front. Tipped the contrivance up to inspect and nothing devastatingly wrong but there is this long piece of foam, around two feet long and four inches square or so, fitted underneath the bottom of the door and seemingly touching the floor. I removed this and found it saturated near water. Squeezed it dry, reassembled and no further overrun at present. Can anyone ( in the know! ) identify this foam block and why it is within? Is it designed to absorb marine and where from? Thanks within advance ............
This foam is for nouns deadening, as for the leach, check you have brackish in the brackish container and that the filters are verbs, also run a good decsaler through the tool (not the ones they sell at the supermarket) step to a domestic repair shop and ask them for a good trade one.

Part of the packaging I cogitate, Does the machine overrun without the foam piece at hand.

PS have looked at my Zanussi... No foam piece such asyou describe.
Answers:    Seems similar to packing. Spray the rubber seal next to silicon spray - it is water repellant and won't damage the rubber and might do the trick. If not sounds like you might requirement a new trademark or the striker plate on the latch may need adjust.
