Get a multi-meter. or electric drill or some other electrical device. Check to see if in that is power at the outlett that the dishwasher is pluged into. If there is than its the motor or timer. If you set the washer to go through a cycle and the timer works its the motor if nought happens its the timer. Either way you'll have need of to call a repairman in to fix it unless your handy. Usually you can shift on-line and do a search for dishwasher parts. You'll need the model and serial number of the washer and you can look up your own parts and directive them. If you would offer more information you would get better answers.
your dishwasher could be broken. Try installing a new one. If that doesn't fix it, I impart up.
Is it plug surrounded by?
Does the wall outlet has a GFI reset button?
