Work contained by a restaurant... Men's Rest Room have this awful urine smell, liner into dining room...? The smell is coming from either the urinals or the drain...
The smell is coming from either the urinals or the drain surrounded by the floor. We have poured straight bleach, cleaning chemicals, and other products into the drains/urinals to lend a hand with the smell and capture rid of whatever is at hand causing it. Any suggestions for a product to use or methods to give a hand get rid of it? It's really embarassing, and cause our guests discomfort... I just bought something call LIQUID FIRE... if you have ever hear of it or have any counsel on it, let me know. Thank you so much for whoever help!
Answers: We have a similar problem at my department and it is because the urinals and the toilets don't flush right (they don't get adequate water to rinse the bowls during respectively flush). Make sure that there is correct marine pressure and that they are all working correctly.
You could also try to return with a better ventilation system from the bathroom to outdoors.
as far as the flor drain, hang on to water contained by the trap at all times or sewer gas will creep up on you, urinals- within are automatic freshners that can be installed to where a nice solution odorant is shot into the urinals on a preset timer.these do help, but keep hold of in mind urine is a have a strong odor.
