To keep the "exhaust" switch start or closed?
Answers: ACs (window or split) are made to run on recirculation. So keeping the exhaust shut is good view to improve usefulness. However the window that open within the AC when you hang on to the exhaust open is a markedly small one and does not really do much to affect efficiency. For an AC to work, you should try and hold the room as much sealed as possible. The window and doors should seal tight as much as possible. The gap between the door and frame as well as between the door and floor receive a huge difference. The curtains should be drawn. Also not using the filament type of bulbs is a good model as they emit profoundly of heat. CFLs would be best.
I would right to be heard closed. With it closed you are recirculating the air cause it to get cooler respectively time it passes the coil. With the vent stretch out, you are bringing in thaw air constantly which have to be cooled. I don't know for certain, but solely seems logical.
