We just get our window shades give or take a few a month ago and my careless sister contracted to be alittle rough on them and let them down rugged. Now when we try to open them, solitary one side will go up while the other sorta sags. What`s broken and can we fix it ourselves?
Answers: The string that runs through the pulleys and through the blind is most possible broken. You can try to dismantle the blind and run a new string. Depending on where on earth you bought them and how much you spent, you can try to take them pay for and have them sent out for repair. This might cost a bit, but the come back well brought-up as new. I know Sears will do this. But restringing one yourself can be done.
What sort of shades? Roman? Venetian blinds? Matchstick?
