Last winter they didn't, but someone was living contained by the house, using water every year. This year I'm leaving for a few months, so the dampen will just be sitting near. I'm more worried about contained by the crawl space under the house than inside.
Answers:    You own 3 choices.

1. spend the money and foam / tape wrap every pipe you can which you should do anyways to give support to costs all year round and to prevent freezing within winter. just a situation of long foam tubes bought at Home Depot or Lowes. Wrap them around and duct tape surrounded by place. Piece of cake.

2. leave faucet(s) slightly dripping so marine is always moving. but this can really run up a hose bill.

3. call up hose down company and pay the charge to have it turned stale and then turned rear on. but have it shut bad at the street then undo the faucets and drain all the hose down and then quit them open to breath.
If you hold on to one faucet on just bit the runing wet will keep the pipes from frezzing.
