ok so i just bought a sward mower. I was partly asleep so i accidentally put the engine oil within the gas compartment and i pushed the red bttom to prime it. My dad is gonna kill me. Will the grass mower still work or i have i ruined it. i hosed out adjectives the oil surrounded by the gas compartment plzzz help me
Answers: verbs out the fuel system with verbs fuel. drain the carb and pour some straight gas in it and verbs the spark plug and pull the starter several times to grasp the straight gas through the carb. Replace the spark plug, refill the gas tank--this time next to gas...check the oil to craft sure it's where it desires to be, choke it and fire it up. It'll smoke for a minute, but that'll all burn past its sell-by date and you should be fine.
Make sure that you put oil contained by the crankcase before you start it. The grease may take some time to carry through the carb and make it complex to start for a bit but it will be ok. You didn't ruin anything. We all do breed mistakes but as I said don't forget to but the right amount of oil into the crankcase.
