Will it sabotage treated lumber to scrub it near bleach?
Answers: spray your deck with "JO MAX" cleaner found contained by most paint stores, than put your power washer to the deck. It works perfect. Than you can buy a cheap $20 wood stain sprayer and spray a river sealer (Thompson) to protect your deck from mold. I live on the beach and believe me it works great on my deck to m¨ºl¨¦e mildrew and mold.
Bleaching wood is not reccomended. But is ok if u need to destroy the molds growth problem. Mold grows because u have a moisture (water) problem. Eliminate the river and u will eliminate the mold. Bleaching is the safest to eradicate molds. When it drys u could re-stain the wood to protect it from the pesky termites.
