We are looking at a house that has a building next to it, but the septic system is located between the house & the building. We are wondering if we will be able to drive over the septic system or would the bulk of a vehicle harm it?
Answers: Probably to unambiguously not. Chances are, your septic system is set at minimum depth allowed for your area, and I hold yet to know of one that a vehicle could soundly drive over. Ask the agent the depth of the pipes, and if they are more than 4.5 underground (which I sincerely doubt) you might be able to drive a lightweight vehicle over it, but not park. I however, would not nick the chance, after seeing my neighbor have to shell out more than $11,000 when he drove his car over his.
depends...pipes and lines may not stand day by day pressure like that...reservoir....if new concrete type should but not matured metal type....better stay away form that .
