Essentially, I want to know which is cheaper to operate?
Its is better to leave at a constant temp or lift up and lower as needed. Do not factor in convenience.

Thanks
Answers:    it is deeply cheeper to leave it at the temp than lower it and rise it when you want to use it , it will hold to work harder and longer to raise the temp than to maintaine a constant temp
It depends on how resourcefully insulated your hot tub is and whether or not you have a cover on it. I preserve mine at 100 degrees (the evasion temperature, it get cold in Ohio). The hot tub costs me conceivably $15 a month in electricity. It would purloin you about 3 hours at 6 degree an hour to heat the tub up to 90 from 70. It's not worth the hassle or few dollars to do that.
