Why wont my timer turn on? i'm trying to run an indoor light timer and it wont move...

i'm trying to run an indoor light timer and it wont move about, i've been adjectives over the house with lots timers and still no light , im contained by the dark

Answers:    You read out "with copious timers and still no light" which probably means worker error rather than a bunch of out of order timers. Almost all timers own pins that revolve as the timer dial revolves. Once the correct pin is tripped, it allows power through the timer to whatever you own it connected to. When the dial moves to the next pin, the nouns is broken and no power gets through to the wispy or whatever. There are usually two pins for respectively function, so the timer will work twice in a 24 hour term. Remember, each time the dial moves and trips one of the pins, the power is allowed through or stopped. Most timers also enjoy a little dial at the top of the box that you can manually use to "set" the correct time.

However, if you set the pins surrounded by place, and manually (do it slowly and not at warp speed) turn the dial, you should get power on and sour as they trip the dial's plastic protrusion that controls the interior switch.

Check to make sure the pins you hold put in are placed correctly and the longer portion sticks into the timer, departed the dial face. Could be you are reversing the pins (difficult to do but possible) and nil is there to trip the power switch.

Short of adjectives that, take it subsequent door and ask your neighbor if he can get them to run. I doubt your issues are within your outlets. Are you sure you are plugging the timers into the outlets all the channel?
