I'm pretty bad at this genus of thing so please use laymans vocabulary. I live in a 5 story apartment building and we hold a furnace heating system.It's be pretty cold the last few weeks, especially at darkness. The heat does come on, but for sort of short period of time, and never at night- at lowest possible I wake up cold and the whistle the hoary furnace made from the relief used to stir me up. Does this have something to do next to the how I screw the valve (tighter or looser)? Or do I want to call my super and pass him a what for for turning off the grill? Is it just the building?
Answers: Since you are a tennant, I wouldn't mess next to it. Call your super and ask him to have the furnace checked out. Would abet your cause if you have some of the other tennants do the same.
Call and complain, they might not know theres a problem.
