Why won't my rototiller start? My rototiller has a 5 hp one cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine....

My rototiller has a 5 hp one cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine. I enjoy replaced the points, plug and condensor. I have upright spark at the plug. I have sprayed starter fluid within the cylinder but it does not attempt to start. I have tried to prime the carburator but it does not assist.
Answers:    If you have a Briggs engine explicitly old satisfactory to require breaker points, it is probably equipped with a "Vacu-jet" carburetor. Inside it have a fuel diaphram. It is the fuel pump for the engine. After the engine sits for a period of time the diaphram get hard and doesn't pump fuel anymore. However the diaphram is replaceable, and is an inexpensive portion, and very undemanding to install. If I had your engine model and type numbers I could update you exactly what part number you obligation and how to install it!
Is there any gas surrounded by it?
