Why wont my lights turn stale when I use the switch? I just get a new ballast and bulbs within my light...
I just get a new ballast and bulbs within my light fixture and immediately when I flick the switch, the lights stay on. I have 3 lights fixtures surrounded by the room all controlled by indistinguishable switch. The only one of the three lights that does not find turned off when I use the switch is the one that only got the ballast and bulbs replaced. Anyone hold any idea? And is it going to cost seriously to fix this problem?
I can't have a sneaking suspicion that of any reason save for that light is not on the switch that you reason it is.
When you replaced the ballast, you have to connect
to a power lead, (Black or Red).
If the fixtures be used as wire-ways, (junctions & splices),
it's possible that you connected to a 'power'
wire instead of a 'switched lead.
Were there two colored wires, (Black or Red), through
that fixture?
I'm guessing you picked the wrong one.
Answers: If it was fine back and not after whoever changed the ballast did their work, they might have mis-wired something. Call them final and make them correct the problem at no cost.
