I have a gas stove/oven, adjectives the burners on the stove work and the pilot is on in the oven but the oven doesn't come on
Answers: if the pilot lantern is on, then the most plausible answer would be the thermostat. similar principle to a home thermostat, this one turns your oven gas valve on and bad.
call a certified technician to troubleshoot this and fix it for you. the gas spout could be the culprit as well, and you don't want to be trying to fix these things yourself.
gasfitters are trained to know how to fix these appliances, not only just furnaces. around here, the gas company only tell you that you have a problem but they don't fix it, and next you have to phone call someone to fix it anyways. so if you're in canada, only just call a local plumber.
