Why won't my food freeze surrounded by the freezer? I would like to know if anyone know why my freezer is...

I would like to know if anyone know why my freezer is acting up? I moved to a new home and we bought a contemporary fridge so we decided to put the older one (which is only 2 years old) contained by the garage. It is very cold within the garage so I am wondering if anyone knows if specifically the reason why my rime cream has turned into shakes and the meat have thaw. My ice cubes are still frozen but I guess what I am asking is do you know if it is because the garage is too cold and have an effect on the items in it. Please solitary give warning if you know anything about it or hold had like peas in a pod problem. I would appreciate serious answers and not ones that say"Take the food out or, the solution is to cook it . Ya know things like that merely to get the points. I really do necessitate help and appreciate any appropriate input. Thank you so much.
Check to see if there is a frost build up on the subsidise of your freezer. If so the freezer isn't defrosting, most probable. If there is a build up of rime on the coils, behind the wager on cover in your freezer, this will prevent the freezer from working correctly.
You may own a defrost problem....a bad timer, defrost part, or defrost thermostat.
Another possible cause could be, the adherent that is located contained by the freezer. If it isn't working the refrigerator/freezer will not work properly. This fan blows the cold nouns off the coil to cool both the freezer and refrigerator.

In insertion, you may also have a restriction surrounded by the refrigeration line, blocking the flow of freon.

If it happen to be a GE, unplug it for 5 minutes or so, then plug it hindmost in. Sometimes this will cure the problem. GE have a main control board that controls the cooling/defrost cycles.

fridge will work in both hot or cold nouns, you mention the ice cubes are frozen ? U voice the ice Cream turned into milk shake and the meat have( thawed) ? assume soft ?
depend how long since you moved within, also the ice cream can unfreeze much sooner than ice cubes same go with fresh meat.
check if you own plugged connection properly and the breaker is not rotten, just within case previous owner may own the breaker off as they may not own been using it i times past
Answers:    Definately check the breaker, but, I suspect you hold already done that. One question.
Was the regrigerator turned on its side or laid down contained by the move? I have hear of bubbles forming and causing issues when you turn one hindmost on after it has be laid down. You are probably going to have to own someone come out & check it. If one of the tubes holding the freon was pierced, that would wreak your problem too.
