If the switch was broken surely it would stay rotten and not on?
Answers:    Hmmmm, I wouldn't call a plumber to fix an electrical problem, I'd phone up an electrician. But you can do this yourself. TURN THE POWER OFF. Then remove the switch cover and the switch. Remove the 2 (or 3) wires from it. Take the new switch and install the 2 black (or anything color you have) wires and install them to the 2 brass screws. If you own a green or bare copper, that flex goes on the green screw. Reinstall within the box and turn the power back on. You should be accurate to go. Hope this help.
The switch has disconnected itself from the line so it wont react.you might hold pulled it out accidently or it could just not own been fixed properly. annoying if you wna sleep and if its your bedroom. its rather an easy proceedure for a builder or even plumber to sort out you essentially have to basically reconnect the wire to the switch becouse the switch is not sending its messages to the night light and the electrical circuit cant be halted. if you requirement to turn it off up to that time the plumber use a fuse box if you have one or the D.
The switch broke while the light be on and the circuit hasnt broken the switch ahs if the circuit broke it would turn off but the swtich is solely connected to the circuit or at least its supposed to be.
