I have this really awesome kerosene lamp in my room that I get as a reward for getting a 72% on my math final exam. However, it won't work, and I am really raered out of my mind. I just stare at it and stare at it, but nil happens. It's plugged contained by and everything! Raer! My one friend has told me that I should try flicking the switch to "on," but that's idiocy. There appears to be a switch on the lamp, but it's solitary for decoration, as the box said in attendance was an "Awesome On/Off Switch!" Please comfort!

unplug the oil lamp,remove the shade,remove the bulb. look into the bottom of the socket ,there is a contactor see if it is flattened out against the bottom of the socket ,if so make into the socket and hook it with your fingernail and considerately bend it up a bit ,not much it will break. put everything back,and try it ,if the awesome switch doesn't turn it on ,is in attendance a switch somewhere else? it's unusual not to have a switch.might try the awesome switch..tom
