Sometimes there is a long deferral between the time when I turn on the hot water within my bathtub and the time when any hose down actually comes out. I don't be determined that I have to keep on for the cold water to turn hot - I be determined I turn the faucet and nothing happen at all. Then, eventually, the hot hose comes out. The delay can compass from a few seconds to several minutes (my wife claimed 15 minutes this morning).
A few months ago I replaced the components in the hot sea knob to repair a leak, and everything worked fine. But as time go by, it started getting this delay, and it seem to get worse respectively day. Any thinking what could be causing it? There be no such delays earlier I repaired the faucet (just a severe leak).
Answers: If you live in a cold climate, I would articulate your pipes feeding your hip bath are freezing. That's the only piece that comes to mind. This was scheduled to me at my kitchen faucet, as the pipes were too close to an outside wall. The rest of the house be fine. I moved the pipes off the wall, insulated, and everything have been fine since.
is it scald proof??
