Why is near no hose coming from the tap? How can I fix it? I have basically moved back into my shared house after the Christmas...

I have basically moved back into my shared house after the Christmas holiday and everything be fine until all the tap stopped working around late afternoon.

My housemate stayed over the holidays and the tap worked fine. The pipes might be frozen as the central heat was moved out off for almost a month because she required to save on bills and it is really cold where on earth I am but how can I check this?

What can I do if the pipes are not frozen? The landlord is away on holiday too so we are stuck. Please serve!
Answers:    Before you do anything, call the dampen department and make sure the hose was not turned past its sell-by date by them.

Secondly, check all valve inside the house and outside to make sure they hold not been turned sour by your housemate or landlord.

If adjectives is well, later you have frozen pipes.
Check underneath the sink to see if the water valve are closed. Your housemate probably shut them as well. If they are open you would have to trace out the dampen lines and see if there are other valve connected to that line and see the position of the spout. If not then near might be a freeze up and would have to steam up the pipes ensuring that you don't apply direct roast causing pipe to crack.
