Why does'nt my proprietor fix the chirping fire alarm surrounded by the corridor? cant really figure it out can you?
cant really figure it out
can you?
Probably the battery is going doomed to failure. Why don't YOU fix the fire alarm?? What's more important--a two dollar battery or YOUR LIFE?
It may be that your building is old and the alarm is hardwired to the prevalent electric, which if there are power outages your alarm can go stale. It also means you probably need to transmute the batteries. When changing the battery be sure to write on them with a sharpie the date of when you changed the batteries. Also hold a look out in your local paper of when your fire department is going to do a free smoke alarm inspection/test, you could benefit from it. Hmm... Maybe Because she cant take off of her dumb butt and go fix that article!
Or she is a Lazy Bum...(Like that first Answer)
Or better yet she forgets to buy batteries for the fire alarm! and resources to forget!
I suggest U to complain to her and that doesn't work tell her its getting on your last effrontery!
Hope that works! Other than that I'm Sorry! Good Luck :)
Answers: The battery is low. I am a tenant and it is in my lease that the tenant is to test and replace the freestyle in the fire alarm when needed. That may be why the landlord is not varying the battery.
Maybe he doesn't know how to replace a 9 volt battery. That's the justification why the smoke detecter is chirping...letting u know that it's time to replace battery. Those little batteries don't cost much you know, you own to take some responsibility for your own safekeeping.
Some older people can't hear shrill sounds, especially older men. Why don't you ask him if he can hear it? If that doesn't work call your fire department and bring up to date them the building's fire alarm is making a strange noise. They'll make sure it get fixed. Good luck. that just means the battery-operated is dead. take it out and it will stop making the crack, or replace it and it will stop making the noise, probably just take 1 9 volt battery
