I replaced my unit later summer with a larger part.
I live in a modern town home/ my blinds are shut/ my filters are new/ I enjoy ceiling fans running/ but my thermometer says 80 and is set on 72. It catch up at night but during the daytime it is awful. What might the problem be?
Answers: If it kept up last year and its not immediately the condenser coil is probable dirty. The condenser coil is the coil on the outside of your house. Try washing it out near a garden hose. Hope it works.
First turn your a/c contractor into the better businss bureau. If you replaced your unit it should cool your house. I believe you have a fitting law suit.
The section your contracor installed is too small. If you set your thermostat on 70 degrees it should drop down to 70 degree. Don't be scared of going after this contractor.
