nothings plugged in down in that just three 60 watt lightbulbs. and it stays on when it wishes 2 it never did this even when i had a stereo, tv,xbox,dvd players, older record play, blacklights, strob lights. and adjectives that hooked..but now that theres zilch down there freshly the lightbulbs its starting this? what could be wrong? or what could i do to fix this
Answers: Sounds like the breaker can no longer hold the small nouns. You need to replace the breaker.
Do you concentration it getting worse everyday ?
If you haven't added anything else to that circuit lately, then it most expected is the breaker.
After so many years, circuit-breakers will breakdown leisurely.
Test the theory
First turn bad the bad breaker and turn sour the a good breaker subsequent to it.
Remove the wire from the unpromising breaker and install it on the good breaker subsequent to it. Turn on the good breaker .
Turn on the lights within the basement.
If the apt breaker does not trip, then you know you own to replace the bad breaker.

Short within your wiring. Trace it out and fix it since you burn the house down.
