My fiance's mother keeps hers soaked surrounded by the sink, and hers doesn't stink lol. Is it just create it's wet after the dampness make it have that moldy smell?

Answers:    You get it! Only it's not just a moldy smell, it is mold. Try getting rid of the sponge adjectives together and use a dish cloth. As soon as your dishes are done toss it into the laundry. You will have a much improved kitchen. Dish cloths are cheap and you can wash them near almost anything.
