I plug my medium sized fridge surrounded by to the wall and turn it on. Check it after half an hour and it is cooling next to no problem. Half an hour after that my main power breaker get tripped. I isolated the circuit, plugged the fridge in and it tripped again. The following year I did exactly the same, near the same results.
I own had this fridge at two different houses next to the same results.
What should I do, or what could be the problem?

It might not be the fridge it might be the wall socket try a extention cord and a different socket

Do you have a GFCI circuit breaker at the panel board? A steadfast 120-volt, 15 or 20 amp circuit to the frig?

If the refrigerator continues to trip once it's on a dedicated GFCI breaker, the refrigerator electrical components may entail cleaning, repair, or replacement.
