Answers: It sounds like the valve(s) inside the washer are leak. The spin cycle pumps all the hose down out like it should, after as it sits, it gradually fill until the water stratum is high adequate to overflow out the drain.
Could be crud from the water or pipes within the valves. There should be screen on the ends of the hoses that connect to the faucets.
Could be the valve failing without human intervention, either sticking or the seal failing.
Could be your water pressure is too high-ranking, or unregulated, and is forcing its way through the stopcock.
Could be minerals in the hose down clogging the valve. If you enjoy mineral water, you will imagined know it.
Could be a valve IS completely stuck unscrew, but the faucet(s) are turned way down so wet doesn't fill the contrivance very at the double (possible if someone turned the hot water process down so as to make not-very-warm hose down for the "warm" settings).
If it were an electrical flop, the valve would any stay full on or full off, and you'd interest - it would fill up really briskly and you'd hear the water running, or it wouldn't swarm at all.
After you/she completes a dust, try turning OFF the hot, OR cold, faucet to the washer. You can find out if it is the hot, cold, or both valves leak. For that matter, does the washer saturate with hot, heat up, or cold water? Can you hear it running? Can you see it dripping into the tub?
OR - smaller number likely, and more problematic...
it is possible the drain is connected incorrectly, any siphoning water hindmost into the tub or allowing drain water from somewhere else to run into the washer instead of down the drain. If this be the case, possible you'd be complaining about harsh, foul, sewage sorts of stuff and not just "water" nourishing the machine.
Bad hot or cold river solenoid. Water inlet hose connect to
