Why do the cable contained by the porter cable drywall sanders break so slickly?
Answers: They don't. How hard are you pressing? Have you cleaned the dust out of it? I've never have a problem with them, bar they took the mud down too fast.
There is a couple of reason we have 18 Porter Cable sanders and at lowest possible 1/2 are in the shop at adjectives times. The cable will snap when the grease drys up in them. When ever we modify the Brushes in the motor we re-grease the cable. This should lend a hand a lot we don't see that plentiful cables that break. We also use a Power Pad from Full Circle using hook and loop near there broadsheet this pad is lately the right size and density.
